Who are we?
Epilepsy Action and Epilepsy Society have worked together to develop the ‘Epilepsy Commissioning Toolkit’, which is a web-based hub of information, advice and evidence needed to improve or commission epilepsy services. It aims to help inform the decision making process of service improvements for a Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG) population of people living with epilepsy.
Many forms of information, tools and data exist for epilepsy, however these can be a challenge to find and require some knowledge of what is available.
With that in mind members of the epilepsy voluntary sector, Epilepsy Action and Epilepsy Society, have worked with nine CCGs to create a process of commissioning steps. The sections are divided into flowing sections, which will take commissioners and providers through the commissioning process.
We have worked in partnership with multiple stakeholders who have played an instrumental part in working together giving direction and advice:
This website will continue to evolve and be updated with new information and examples of good practice, as they arise, to improve services for people living with epilepsy.
If you have any questions or comments to improve the site please contact Juliet Ashton (Epilepsy Society) or Peri O’Connor (Epilepsy Action) via the contact page.
